New categories for 2026 include Property Management Start-Up of the Year, Rent Roll Broker of the Year, and Coach/Mentor of the Year, reflecting the continued evolution of Australia’s property management sector.
Entries are now open and will close on Friday, 21 August 2026.
Finalists will be announced on Thursday, 22 September 2026, before the industry’s best gather at The Star Sydney for a black-tie gala on Thursday, 5 November 2026, where the winners will be revealed.
Speaking ahead of the launch, REB editor Liam Garman said the awards were created to recognise one of the industry’s most important, yet often overlooked, professions.
"The annual PMX Awards recognise those in property management who are the quiet engines of the real estate industry," Garman said.
"If there’s one thing we’ve learnt over the past 12 months, it’s that agencies can no longer afford to treat property management as a back-office function. High-performing property management businesses are driving growth, profitability and long-term client relationships."
"It’s time we recognised the property managers, business development managers, leasing agents, and leaders whose work underpins the success of Australia’s real estate industry."
About the awards
