Australia’s property management sector has celebrated another year of standout professionals and businesses, with the finalists for REB’s Property Management Excellence Awards 2026 now revealed.
REB has shortlisted 197 property management professionals and businesses from 320 submissions in the second year of the Property Management Excellence (PMX) Awards.
The 2026 program features 30 categories spanning individual achievement, group innovation and enterprise leadership, shining a light on the people and businesses helping drive the property management sector forward.
Property management sits at the heart of the rental market, with professionals balancing the needs of landlords and tenants while managing everything from leasing and maintenance to compliance, inspections, arrears and day-to-day client relationships.
The individual categories recognise professionals across business development, property management, leasing, customer service, leadership and mentoring.
Finalists include representatives from Coronis, TAG RE, RE/MAX Success, Raine & Horne, and Barry Plant.
The group categories turn the focus to the businesses and teams delivering results across areas including team culture, community engagement, tenant relations, landlord experience and innovation.
Group finalists include LJ Hooker, NU Management, OC Real Estate, and McGrath Real Estate.

With the finalists now selected, attention turns to the winners, who will be announced at the black-tie PMX Awards ceremony on Thursday, 5 November 2026, at The Star Sydney.
The event will bring together property management professionals from across Australia to recognise the people and businesses making their mark on the sector.

PMX Conference set to lead into awards night
Ahead of the awards ceremony, REB’s PMX Conference will return to Sydney on Thursday, 5 November.
The conference will bring together the people, ideas and technology shaping the next phase of the profession.
Returning for its second year, the conference will explore the challenges standing between agencies and sustainable growth.
Sessions will cover stronger teams, winning new management, customer retention, and making technology work harder.
