Upside Realty has recorded its highest attendance at open homes since January as well as an all-time record week of sales.

In a statement to REB, the national agency noted its success and shared how buyer demand is climbing back to pre-COVID-19 levels.

“Across our regional areas, we have seen an increase in property enquiries up by 103 per cent in the last quarter,” said James Kirkland, sales director.

“There is also strong buyer demand in Sydney and Melbourne, and because of low stock, we are seeing a window of opportunity in the market right now.”

Further, Mr Kirkland said the stats show the winter reason is shaping up to replace spring as the “optimum time to sell”.

“Traditionally, spring was the best time to put your property on the market, but waiting for the warmer weather might mean a 10 per cent-plus drop in sales price you will be able to get.”

Mr Kirkland said the market hasn’t dropped as of yet, adding that properties that are priced right “are getting snapped up in days”.

“Houses are selling, but a lot of people are scared to list,” he said.
