REB has unveiled Australia’s Top 50 Dealmakers 2024 ranking, which recognises agents who consistently settled deals in FY24.
For the eighth consecutive year, the Dealmakers ranking celebrates top-performing agents who have excelled in their local areas and gone above and beyond in their service to customers.
The REB Dealmakers 2024 ranking showcases the exceptional talent and dedication of agents advancing Australia’s real estate industry.
The ranking is determined based on residential sales for the 2023 financial year between 1 July 2022 and 30 June 2023, and the 2024 financial year between 1 July 2023 and 30 June 2024.
The ranking is then measured through several key metrics, including the number of deals, year-on-year growth, and consistency of performance.
The Dealmakers 2024 ranking highlighted an upward trend in the real estate sector, with significant year-on-year growth.
In FY24, the average growth score rose from 21.8 in 2023 to 36.1, reflecting a potential improvement in market conditions and agent performance.
The top 50 dealmakers also saw a significant increase in their average deals per month, rising from 7.0 in FY23 to 10.9 in FY24 – averaging more than two sales per week.
The total number of deals per dealmaker also surged, with this figure reaching 130.6 in FY24, up from 84.4 in the previous year.
This growth underscores the dedication of Australia’s top agents despite challenging market conditions.
Across the states, Victoria had the highest state representation at 18, followed by NSW with 14 agents and Queensland with nine.
The residential agents who secured a rank set a new benchmark for consistency for other dealmakers to emulate going forward.
REB editor Juliet Helmke congratulated everyone included for their “hard work and determination that has earned them this well-deserved recognition”.
“It’s a genuine pleasure to celebrate the perseverance and excellence demonstrated by these dealmakers who hail from all across the country. Every agent featured in this ranking has poured immense time, effort and passion into perfecting their skills.”
