The new office is part of a strategy to build a network of offices across Sydney’s eastern suburbs.

LJ Hooker Double Bay announced that the network is planning to expand its presence in Sydney’s east over the coming year, opening a new office in Woollahra ahead of a planned recruitment and acquisition drive.

Aaron Del Monte, principal and licensee, highlighted that the new high-profile premises is a key move that will strengthen the brand within the region and is part of a larger strategy to build a network of high-performing offices across the city’s east.

“It has been a big year of growth for us, but we are predicting even bigger things in 2025 with some exciting mergers in the pipeline and increasing our rent roll,” Del Monte said.

Del Monte emphasised that the new office allows the LJ Hooker Double Bay team to provide a customised and local service to residents of Woollahra while also leveraging their expertise in Double Bay.

“We also recognise that the market here is changing and bringing new opportunities. Prestige listings are still coveted, but we are noticing a shift as people look for property in more affordable pockets of the eastern suburbs, and we want to capture this business too,” Del Monte added.

Chris Keating, LJ Hooker Group head of network Australia, congratulated Del Monte on the opening of the new office.

“This is an outstanding achievement, particularly in an intensively competitive market such as Sydney’s eastern suburbs,” he said.

Keating believes that Aaron’s “vision, energy and dedication” are qualities that will launch LJ Hooker into its “upcoming centenary celebrations and beyond”.

Alongside his growth objectives, Del Monte aims to increase the sales team’s size twofold by the end of 2025. Among the recent additions is Darran Wyatt, a former professional golfer who has taken on the role of associate director at LJ Hooker Double Bay after spending 10 years with DiJones Woollahra.

“What swayed Darran to join us is that we are a team who is hungry, motivated and wanting growth,” Del Monte said.
