An industry professional with over 30 years of real estate experience, including nearly two decades at Harcourts, has stepped into the role of director of growth in Victoria.

As part of the appointment, Brent Pullar will be expected to bring his detailed experience to deliver success for the Harcourts network across the state.

Pullar co-founded MPRE Group in 2000, before serving as Harcourts Victoria chief executive officer for five years.

He is also currently a director and shareholder of the Harcourts Victoria group.

The appointment as director of growth follows a serious brain and back injury which forced Pullar to temporarily step back from the industry.

Pullar said that he will be hitting the pavement, reaching out directly to the network’s offices across the state.

“I don’t have an office or a desk because I believe in being out there, visiting our teams directly,” Pullar said. “I’ve been there: I’ve run offices, motivated agents, dealt with financial stress, so I know how hard it can be for many business owners.”

“It’s important to listen with empathy.”

In his role, Pullar is expected to deliver substantial hands-on training for the real estate offices.

“I don’t go in pre-planned, download and dump, and walk away,” he adds. “Often, it’s about being someone they can bounce ideas off, someone to talk to, without the pressure of opinions. Listen, don’t just present.”

Pullar’s return was welcomed by Adam Fiteni, CEO of Harcourts Victoria, who explained that the appointment will strengthen the network’s offering across the state.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Brent Pullar back to the Harcourts Victoria corporate team!” he said.

“Brent’s deep industry knowledge and no-fuss approach to real estate are sure to make a significant impact across our network. He has been a tremendous supporter of mine – even before I stepped into this role – and I’m genuinely excited to have him by my side as we continue to grow and strengthen the Harcourts Vic network together. Welcome back, Brent!”
