A seasoned industry leader has joined Century 21 Novocastrian in a move designed to boost the network’s footprint across the booming Newcastle and Hunter region.

New appointee Greg Oddy brings over two decades of experience, including senior leadership roles as state manager at REA Group and NSW state manager at Century 21.

Originally from the Hunter, he returns to the region to join the Charlestown-based agency, alongside managing director Casey Healey.

“The Hunter is the largest regional economy in Australia and an area I hold dear to my heart,” Oddy said.

“In my opinion, the major airport upgrade, new innovation hubs, and expected population growth is only going to strengthen the region’s economy in the future, and this in turn should be positive for local property owners.

“I am looking forward to working closely with local residents to help them achieve their property goals while supporting the fantastic team at Century 21 Novocastrian as its growth trajectory continues.”

Charles Tarbey, chairman and owner of Century 21 Australasia, welcomed the appointment.

“I am delighted that Greg choose to stay with the Century 21 brand when he decided to move closer to friends and family,” Tarbey said.

“Greg is a proven real estate leader and high performer. I have no doubt he will add further value to Century 21 Novocastrian, already well-established as a leading real estate agency.”

The move follows Century 21’s recent expansion in Queensland, with Moreton Bay-based Regan & Co joining the network and rebranding as Century 21 Aspire Group.

Led by local agents Trent and Kal Regan, the group now operates out of Narangba and North Lakes. Trent brings nearly 20 years of industry experience, while Kal is one of Queensland’s few licensed female auctioneers.

Century 21 Australia said the Aspire Group office is among the top performers in the region.
