An established Birkdale team has joined Harcourts Property Centre, boosting the agency’s footprint across Brisbane’s eastern suburbs.

Based in Birkdale, the new office will be led by local agents Andrew South and Levi Van Dijk, who made the switch to Harcourts following 17 years of leading their own business.

The opening of the new office will strengthen the already established Harcourts Property Centre network east of Brisbane, adding to their existing offices across Wellington Point, Cleveland, and Wynnum Manly.

South and Van Dijk’s pre-existing ties to Harcourts Property Centre’s senior leadership team made transitioning from their previous brand the right step for the business.

South said the ability of the team to continue to serve the same community with the additional resources of Harcourts Property Centre was a major factor in the decision to make the change.

“We’re excited to continue to work in the community we love,” South said.

“The fact that our entire team is staying together means our clients will continue to see the same faces they know and trust, now backed by HPC’s wider network and resources,” South said.

Co-managing director of Harcourts Property Centre, Sam Devlin, said the opening of a Birkdale office was about more than just expansion, with Devlin stating that South and Van Dijk’s team were a big part of the move.

“Andrew, Levi, and their team are trusted names in this community and even better people,” Devlin said.

“To see their entire office join our network, and to support them with the horsepower of Harcourts Property Centre, is something we’re excited about.”

Harcourts Queensland CEO, Andrew Friebe, has said that the Birkdale office’s commitment to developing relationships would lead to new opportunities as the brand continues to grow in the real estate industry.

“By bringing together highly skilled individuals who are passionate about delivering outstanding results, we continue to strengthen our position as a trusted name in the market,” Friebe said.

Aaron Brooks, co-managing director of Harcourts Property Centre, said that the opening of the Birkdale office would increase the brand’s presence across Queensland’s key markets.

“We look forward to redefining what exceptional client service looks like in the Bayside and the Redlands,” Brooks concluded.
