Revealed: Australia’s best buyer’s agents crowned at blockbuster inaugural Buyers Agent Awards night

After months of anticipation and a fiercely competitive field of finalists from across the country, the inaugural Australian Buyers Agent Awards has officially crowned Australia’s most influential buyer’s agents, fastest growing firms and top property deal makers.

Hosted by Smart Property Investment (SPI) and Real Estate Business (REB), the black-tie gala brought together the biggest names in property to celebrate the professionals reshaping how Australians buy real estate.

From helping first home buyers secure a foothold in the market to helping investors scale their portfolios and prestige purchasers in some of Australia’s top luxury markets and large-scale commercial deals, buyer’s agents are playing a bigger role than ever before.

 
 

And this awards night recognised the very best in the business.

Winners included Cate Bakos as the Research & Acquisition Specialist of the Year - Residential PPOR, Simon Loo as the Buyers Agent of the Year - Residential Investment and Chris Huxter as the Buyers Agent of the Year - Commercial.

Matt Spooner, winner of Buyers Agent of the Year - Residential PPOR took home the coveted Excellence Award.

The awards program was supported by principal partner BuySecure, gold partners Aussie, BA Icon, Property Valet and Gameplans.

As well as Managed, Property Investment Professionals of Australia, Bricks & Mortar Media, Agile Market Intelligence and FInni.

Held at Doltone House, Hyde Park, the ceremony honoured excellence across a wide range of categories, including residential investment, owner-occupier services, innovation, technology, marketing, leadership and rising stars of the profession.

The awards marked a major milestone for one of Australia’s fastest-growing real estate sectors, shining a spotlight on the individuals and businesses setting a new benchmark for results, service and client outcomes.
