REB is proud to announce, with support from leading proptech Managed the top 50 dealmakers of 2026 – a group of agents who kept settling deals throughout a year when the property market turned against sellers,.
The ranking, now in its tenth year, covers a financial year of two halves. Values climbed to a record in the first nine months of FY26 before slipping into reverse, with national dwelling values now about 5 per cent below their March peak and the cash rate lifted to 4.60 per cent.
Yet the dealmakers lifted their numbers regardless.

The top 50 closed an average of 156.3 deals in FY26, up from 128.6 in FY25, or around three transactions a week. Average deals per month rose from 10.7 to 13.0, and average growth edged up from 47.5 to 49.2, showing that the best agents in the country were still growing in a market that offered them little help.
The top 10 dealmakers averaged 120.0 deals, up from 109.5 in the previous year. Their average growth eased from 46.3 to 34.8, a natural slowdown for agents already working from a high base. Experience was a standout feature of the top 10, who averaged 13.7 years in the industry compared with 11.5 last year, slightly ahead of the wider top 50 at 13.5 years.
A shift in the states
Victoria again had the highest representation, with 16 agents in the top 50, the same as last year. The big mover was South Australia, which nearly doubled its presence from five agents to 11 to finish second.
NSW had eight agents (down from 14), and Queensland had four (down from 10), while Western Australia doubled from three to six. Tasmania entered the ranking with three agents, two of them in the top 10, and the Northern Territory again had two.
Managed, the pioneering automated rental payments platform that enables agencies to run a rent roll without a trust account, is proud to support the top 50 REB Dealmakers of 2026 and provide them with the recognition they deserve.
REB Editor Liam Garman said: “This has been a tough year to sell property, and these agents have made it look easy. The top 50 dealmakers of 2026 have set a benchmark for what it takes to succeed in any market, and they deserve to be celebrated.”
Methodology
The REB Dealmakers 2026 ranking was determined based on a rigorous methodology, with all data verified by Agile Market Intelligence to ensure accuracy.
The ranking has been measured through three key metrics: total number of deals, year-on-year deal growth from FY25 to FY26, and consistency of performance (how consistently they have settled deals over the months in FY26).
The ranking was based on the analysis of the total value and number of residential sales settled between July 2025 and June 2026, and the number of residential sales settled between July 2024 and June 2025.
Agents were also asked to submit the number of residential sales they settled within each monthly period from July 2025 to June 2026.
In addition, they needed to supply a CRM verification document clearly outlining the following information:
-
Total value of settled sales for the 2025–2026 financial year.
-
Total number of settled sales for the 2024–2025 financial year.
-
Total number of settled sales for the 2025–2026 financial year.
-
Total number of settled sales for the 2025–2026 financial year broken down by month.
