A new homepage heralds in a new investment for REA’s residential property research platform.

The property marketing giant has revealed the refresh to property.com.au is “the first investment in the property website in a number of years”.

According to a statement revealing the new-look site, “the aim of the refresh is to build Australia’s leading property research destination, providing a full picture of every property in Australia”.

Offering users the capacity to search more than 15 million residential addresses across the country, REA’s new property pages are set to include a property overview with historic and current sales and rentals; lists of neighbouring or similar properties for sale, rent or that have recently sold; and the estimated property value and value per square metre.

With the new-look site backed by PropTrack, REA Group reported that property.com.au will complement realestate.com.au and will also be able to link to new listings on agency websites.
