Little Hinges has released a virtual walkthrough of a new Domain house on The Block.

The Block contestants Sharon and Ankur from Melbourne have revealed their Domain house via a 3D walkthrough tour.

Little Hinges, the virtual inspection platform, has revealed it has partnered with The Block to provide online room reveals throughout the entire home, which remain hidden from the eyes of television viewers.

The Block star Sharon Johal said: “We wanted to give fans and potential bidders the opportunity to see everything that’s gone into creating the spaces we’re revealing on the show.

“There’s so much detail in each of the rooms that doesn’t get shown on TV.”

The House #3 duo have renovated the largest home on the show, a five-bedroom house located on a 10-acre property in the rural Victorian town of Gisborne.

Sharon and Ankur’s property offers a taste of country living whilst also being located just under an hour’s drive away from Melbourne’s central business district.

With panoramic views of the surrounding Macedon Ranges, it was their guest bedroom that scored the couple their win for the week. The Block judge Neale Whitaker awarded the couple a 27/30 score for the “charming” room.

Little Hinges chief marketing officer and co-founder Mike York explained that working with Sharon, Ankur, and The Block team had been “a great opportunity to show that digital open homes are essential for any modern agent wanting to sell or rent property”.

“The property has had significant interest from an overseas audience, and we’ve been able to offer them the kind of access that would be impossible without a 3D, millimetre-accurate virtual tour,” he said.

Intelligent technology is continuing to transform the operations of modern real estate, particularly with the popularity of virtual property inspections. Sharon and Ankur’s Domain home garnered 30,000 views within the first week of the tour going live.

“We saw tens of thousands of digital inspections of House #3 within 24 hours of launch, and know this will give potential buyers a real taste of what living in this property will feel like,” Mr York added.

He anticipates Sharon and Ankur’s property to take home the grand prize, “with the virtual walkthrough giving them a real edge in the competition,” he commented.

The final auction episode will air on Sunday, 6 November, with the five Gisborne houses priced from $4 million to $4.4 million.
