The real estate tech giant has landed on the list of top employers for the third year running.

Ranking fifth on the list of best workplaces in the large company category, REA is the highest ranked ASX-listed business on the annual report released by Great Place to Work.

The firm’s CEO, Owen Wilson, described this achievement as a testament to REA’s many employees who contribute to its company culture.

“Our people are the best judges of what it’s really like to work at REA. I’m particularly proud that this recognition reflects their views of our total employee experience, how we create value for our teams and our business, and how we measure up against the best companies in Australia,” Mr Owen said.

Businesses are selected for the list from among those who have been certified by Great Place to Work. The process involves a broad survey of company employees to gauge their experiences at a firm.

Mr Owen added that the results show REA Group has created “a world-class employee experience” where people are at the heart of their success.

“I would like to congratulate every single person at REA for their contribution. Our employees are purpose-driven and collaborative, which drives innovation and our ability to make a real impact for our customers and consumers,” he added.

REA Group’s chief people and sustainability officer, Mary Lemonis, concurred:

“Our commitment to investing in leadership capabilities, talent attraction and engagement, and nurturing a diverse and inclusive culture are just a few of the things that make REA stand out from the crowd.

“We place a lot of value in this Great Place to Work recognition as it reflects our strong REA culture and helps us attract high-calibre talent to our business. Equally, it is the acknowledgement of our commitment to designing and delivering a leading employee experience for our people. This is something our whole team plays a role in and should feel very proud of,” Ms Lemonis said.
