A Melbourne-based heavyweight will be taking on the senior manager of enterprise agency solutions role at the proptech giant.

Carly Joyce is taking on the position, following previous stints at REA Group and CoreLogic. Most recently, she was Yellow Brick Road’s business manager for real estate financial services across Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia and Tasmania.

In her new role, Ms Joyce and the broader team are responsible for “supporting the current and future property technology (proptech) needs of multi-agency or large franchise networks”, with MRI touting the likes of Harcourts, Professionals, Ray White, DiJones, One Agency and Barry Plant among others.

Weighing in on Ms Joyce’s appointment, APAC director of enterprise agency solutions for MRI Software, Luke Thomas, said her alignment “comes at a critical time” when real estate agencies are looking for more than one-off solutions to isolated tech problems.

“There’s a distinct shift in larger agencies with strengths across both sales and property management to have an open and connected technology platform that allows them to see and anticipate sales and rental market trends, drive new opportunities across the business, and support people throughout their property lifecycle,” he explained.

“Carly understands these bigger picture market opportunities and challenges, as larger agencies look to integrate proptech across their business to keep clients for life.”

He continued: “I’m confident her proven track record of client service excellence, strategic vision and business acumen will quickly inspire confidence among Australia’s most influential and progressive real estate industry leaders.”

Ms Joyce herself has expressed her excitement at her new role, commenting: “I’m thrilled to be a part of MRI and work closely with Luke Thomas and the team.”

“MRI has an outstanding reputation for delivering exceptional client service and innovation, and I’m looking forward to continuing to build on a culture of excellence focused exclusively on the real estate industry,” she concluded.
