Belle Property has ramped up its expansion strategy with the launch of a new commercial office in regional Western Australia, signalling its confidence in the growth potential of Broome amid tightening vacancy rates and mounting investor interest.

The new office – Belle Property Commercial Broome – will be the third local outpost under seasoned principal Tamyla Strahan, who currently leads Belle Property Broome and Belle Property Escapes Broome.

Strahan brings extensive experience across boutique and large-scale development projects, as well as shopping centre and hotel asset management.

“Broome is a unique and tightly held commercial market,” Strahan said.

“It serves not only the local community but also acts as a key hub for a large part of Western Australia, with the Kimberley and Pilbara regions, and supports industries such as resources, tourism, agriculture, government, marine services, retail, and professional services.”

The move follows recent investment in Broome, including upgrades to the airport, CBD, Cable Beach, and Town Beach.

The network flagged low vacancy rates and robust demand in both retail and industrial sectors as key indicators for future growth.

“Market activity is strong, with growing demand from both tenants and investors, and our background in managing major commercial assets gives us a clear edge in this market,” Strahan added.

It comes days after the network announced the opening of a new South Brisbane office, offering multilingual service and a client-first approach to meet rising demand in the growth area.

The office will be led by Gonnie Nahar, who has been living in the area for over two decades, and brings 12 years of experience to the role, along with local connections.

The network said Nahar’s extensive industry knowledge, personal connection to the area, and honest approach to real estate will be an asset to the new office.

Additionally, the principal is also a polyglot, fluent in four languages, including English, Hindi, Urdu and Punjabi, catering to Brisbane’s multicultural population.
