Knight Frank has strengthened its South Australia office leasing team with a new director, backing its growth strategy amid rising confidence in Adelaide’s office market.

Patrick Bush has been named Knight Frank’s new director of office leasing in Adelaide, overseeing all sectors of South Australia’s office market.

He joins Adelaide’s office leasing team of three, including partner, head of office leasing Martin Potter, director of office leasing Rory Dyus, and senior executive, office leasing, Catherine Silverlock.

Bush brings a decade of experience within the property industry, with previous roles including senior consultant at MRS Property and senior leasing executive at JLL.

Knight Frank said Bush’s experience lies in negotiating transactions on behalf of both landlords and tenants, both nationally and globally.

Bush said he was ready to hit the ground running to support the firm and deliver positive results.

“I am looking forward to strengthening the office leasing team in Knight Frank’s Adelaide office and delivering exceptional service to our current and future clients,” he said.

Potter said Bush will be an asset to the team, given his experience and expertise in the city’s office leasing market.

“We are thrilled to welcome him back to Knight Frank, and to grow our office leasing team at a time when we are experiencing improving sentiment in Adelaide’s CBD office market,” Potter said.

He said that, according to Property Council data, Adelaide was one of the few cities to see a decline in the CBD office vacancy rate in the first half of the year.

“Tenants are active across the board and we are seeing prime rental growth in particular due to the ongoing flight to quality, which is expected to continue until 2028,” Potter said.
