A commercial property professional has joined Knight Frank’s investment sales team in Western Sydney, drawing on his broad buyer network and experience across various assets.

Tony Chen has joined Knight Frank as senior sales executive to its Western Sydney investment sales team, specialising in development sites, office, retail, and mixed-use assets.

Chen will be based at the firm’s Parramatta office, working alongside partner, head of investment sales Western Sydney, Jeff Moxham, and the broader NSW investment sales team.

According to Knight Frank, Chen brought more than 11 years of industry experience, including roles at other commercial companies such as Colliers, CBRE and, most recently, Savills.

It said his experience spanned the full property lifecycle, having developed an understanding of planning, feasibility, development, marketing, and transaction management.

Additionally, it said Chen was bilingual, being fluent in both English and Mandarin, and had access to a wide network of local and international investors.

Moxham said Chen’s experience across different commercial asset classes, alongside his strong market knowledge and broad buyer network, made him an asset to the team.

“He has a strong reputation for achieving outstanding outcomes for a wide range of clients, including private owners, developers, insolvency practitioners and government agencies,” he said.

“His appointment will boost our Investment Sales offering in Western Sydney and further enhance our ability to deliver exceptional results for our clients."

Chen said Western Sydney continued to attract strong interest from local and offshore investors, underpinned by infrastructure investment, population growth and ongoing urban renewal.

"I am delighted to be joining Knight Frank and becoming part of such a highly respected business with a strong presence across Western Sydney and the broader Sydney market,” he said.

“With strong fundamentals and increasing investor confidence, I look forward to helping clients unlock value and capitalise on opportunities throughout Western Sydney.”
