The commercial network has appointed a new senior director who will leverage nearly 40 years of real estate experience to support its industrial clients.
CBRE has announced the appointment of Paul Tierney as the network’s latest senior director in Adelaide.
Tierney brings almost four decades of experience in the real estate industry, most recently leading the industrial team at Colliers.
Having begun his real estate career in the UK, he moved to Australia in 2000, where he worked for CBRE until 2006, joining the Colliers network, eventually rising to the role of national director, industrial.
Now, 20 years on, Tierney has reunited with the network that began his Australian career.
“The industrial sector has been my focus throughout my career, and I have been fortunate to have worked at great organisations in both the UK and Australia,” Tierney said.
“After emigrating, CBRE gave me the opportunity to hone my skills, develop new ones and create enduring relationships in my adopted homes.”
The network said that the appointment would strengthen its industrial and logistics services.
CBRE senior director, industrial and logistics Paul McKay said the appointment of Tierney would strengthen the network’s ability to serve clients across the South Australian market.
“Paul’s depth of experience and exceptional client network significantly bolster our industrial offering and add a new dimension to our team,” McKay said.
The appointment marks the second significant leadership move by CBRE in recent months, having bolstered its Victorian office leasing with a pair of experienced professionals back in July.
