A 12-month restructuring effort has seen a business growth manager appointed in First National Real Estate’s New South Wales corporate team.

Katrina Tarrant has been named in the strategic role as the group eyes off continued expansion.

She considered it “an enormous opportunity for me to be part of such a talented and supportive corporate team, in one of the fastest-growing national networks”.

Acknowledging the modern business structure as a key attraction to the brand, the business growth manager added that the organisation “is highly regarded in the industry for its focus on innovation, cutting-edge products, customer satisfaction and genuine business support”.

According to First National’s national manager for business growth, Matthew Harvey, Ms Tarrant’s appointment reflects that “commitment to growth” from the board of directors.

“We’re primed for growth, so it is critical our corporate team has the professional capacity to meet our objectives,” he commented.

“Katrina Tarrant’s accomplishments in corporate real estate are well recognised and she will complement the culture, vision, values and energy of our business growth management team.”

Mr Harvey said First National is experiencing unprecedented membership enquiry, with Ms Tarrant’s appointment coinciding with a “sharply accelerated” recruitment strategy: “The COVID environment has starkly confirmed our members are better prepared and supported than any others to meet today’s challenges.”

More than 20 offices joined the group during COVID, with a further six agencies expected to open their doors this January.
