Working together to make things Possibl

We all know that right now property prices are enjoying some pretty spectacular growth. But what most vendors don’t know is that when it comes to the people working hard to make sales happen (you!), things are the most competitive they’ve been in a while.

It’s not helped by the fact that listings can be in short supply, making things even harder to capture the attention of a vendor for the right reasons. To secure that next engagement, it means doing things differently to how they’ve always been done.

It’s why it’s so important to remove any barriers to a sale. Especially if those barriers include slowing down the time it takes to get a property to market and the chance that a vendor may go elsewhere.

While you know that getting a property ready for sale isn't cheap, not all vendors have that same knowledge, nor do they have the available disposable funds on hand. Worse still, they don’t realise what styling, basic improvements and marketing can do for a property's price potential.

It’s what Sophie, a vendor from Sydney, found out when she went to sell her place:

"I remember going to sell my place and our agent telling me I would be out of pocket for around $5,000 - $6,000. I had no idea and it made the process more complicated during what was already a pretty stressful time.”

More than this, it’s what a number of our team went through themselves when it came to selling their respective properties. And it’s what we heard from agents who wanted options when it came to covering the cost of selling themselves. Despite the limited options on the market, they just didn’t hit the mark.

So we looked at creating something that would work well for both agents and vendors, removing friction and making a property transaction less stressful and more rewarding for everyone.

It’s why Possibl was born. We’re a simple, fully digital and seamless way to get access to the upfront costs of selling a property, with nothing due until settlement. Unlike others, we operate as a fully regulated lender, providing realistic terms of 120 days (with no nasty surprises) and a flat fee to make it easy for you to remove any hesitation when it comes to winning that listing.

There’s no need for onboarding and flexibility is key. Either you or your vendor can complete the online application, giving the ability to get access to up to $20k funds (received in 24 hours) and a smoothed repayment option if a property doesn’t sell.

We’re also independent with no hidden agenda to get you to spend more on an industry service you might already be feeling forced to spend a large amount with. And to help you with your cashflow, we can also get you access to your commission on exchange, rather than having to wait until settlement.

But don’t take our word for it, see why agents like Dion and many others choose us because of our simplicity and how we free them up to win more listings in a highly competitive market:

"While there are a few options on the market that cover upfront costs of selling a property, a lot of them miss the mark and don't actually deliver on what we really need. That's not the case with Possibl."

And when we say about making things better for everyone, we mean it. Having a house to sell is often a fortunate position for someone to be in. Not everyone has that opportunity. Every night, more than 116,000 people sleep homeless in Australia. An additional 1.5 million people live in housing distress.

We believe that every Australian deserves to have a home where they feel safe and secure and we want to lead with purpose to help change the system where entrenched inequality exists. We believe this can change and are deeply committed to doing our bit to make it happen.

As a business, we put our money where our mouth is by combining purpose with profit. From giving our own money to our impact initiatives, to working with partners to tackle housing affordability or helping those in need to get access to interest-free loans, we are committed to doing our bit to help make inequality a thing of the past.

Not everyone is the same. So if you’re interested in finding out how we can make things Possibl for your cashflow or how we can help give your vendors a simple way of making improvements to their homes that make a BIG difference, not just for them but for others, please get in touch by heading here.
