Based in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs, Barry Plant Eastern Group has expanded for the second time in under a year by adding the services of an Eltham outfit.
The business has struck a deal with the team that formerly operated as Fletchers Eltham, led by Nathan Foley with Jason Stepanow running day-to-day operations.
This follows the news of November 2022 that the group was taking over the business of fellow Victorian real estate stalwart Phillip Webb when he retired after 50 years.
Spiro Drossos, who helms the rapidly growing Barry Plant team, noted the addition of this office is significant for the network, as it’s been servicing the suburb of Eltham since the early 1980s.
He believes that the team now in place is the most experienced and committed in the brand’s extensive history in the area. But he’s careful to add that even in the midst of such expansion, they were being mindful to strike strategic partnerships that aligned with the brand’s ultimate goals.
“Expanding our team isn’t the only focus, providing the best experience for our clients is a top priority — growth is critical to any business but we always value quality over quantity,” he said.
“Recruiting professionals like Nathan Foley and his team helps us achieve both goals. Under Jason Stepanow’s day-to-day leadership and with the support of our broader team, this injection of experience and quality will see our Eltham agency go from strength to strength,” Mr Drossos expanded.
Barry Plant CEO, Mike McCarthy, added that the network was eager to empower the incoming team to meet and exceed new goals.
