Harcourts heralds ‘marquee signing’ of chief growth officer

A new executive has joined the ranks of Harcourts, signifying the return of a ‘dynamic duo’ in the real estate industry.

Tina Ashton has been revealed as taking on the role, with Harcourts Australia CEO Adrian Knowles calling her “the unequivocal best franchise growth strategist in Australia”.

With Mr Knowles calling her “a marquee signing for the corporate team”, Harcourts has called Ms Ashton “a high achiever with a proven track record of sales.

 
 

Her move into the new role follows her stint as national head of growth at Raine & Horne.

After resigning from the network, Ms Ashton was reportedly offered a number of positions, but expressed that the values of Harcourts aligned with her own.

“I believe Harcourts is a modern, evolving group who exhibits trust and longevity, from its creation in 1888. In addition, the group has established a lead position in the market and have core values that align with my own being honesty and integrity,” she commented.

She went on to say: “From a national stance, Harcourts dominate Tasmania with a miraculous 24 per cent market share.”

“Queensland is extremely strong with some of the biggest names in real estate and New South Wales has 90 offices across the state, and a great opportunity to expand our metro footprint,” the new chief growth officer continued.

As part of the attraction of her new role Ms Ashton divulged she would “also have the opportunity to realign with trusted friend and industry leader Katrina Tarrant”.

Ms Ashton reflected that it had been “a pleasure working with Katrina we complement each other’s strengths and create a formidable team”.

With the pair reunited once more, Harcourts NSW CEO Ms Tarrant said that teaming up with Tina Ashton again fills me with excitement!”

“Our past achievements speak volumes, and now, as we drive Harcourts rapid growth, our successful history will be our guiding force to bold new horizons.
