National real estate giant LJ Hooker has unveiled a new service as it looks to become the “number one customer experience brand” in the market.

LJ Hooker has expanded its real estate offering with the announcement of a customer service that aggregates time-consuming moving and connection services for homebuyers and tenants.

In a statement, the group said that the LJ Hooker Assist concierge service has been introduced to strengthen the ongoing relationship between the brand and its customers, providing access to an extensive range of utility disconnection and reconnection providers, telco, pay TV, and data services, all at competitive market rates.

The service also includes organising customers’ home and contents insurance, storage, removalists and home loan finance.

LJ Hooker’s head of customer experience, Leanne Howard, said the LJ Hooker Assist service was a natural extension of the brand’s existing services, making the time-consuming task of moving quicker and more reliable for consumers.

“LJ Hooker aims to be the number one customer experience brand in the marketplace, and LJ Hooker Assist is a natural extension of our current service offerings,” Ms Howard said.

“Moving into a new home or rental property is a time-consuming process and we’re now able to lessen some of those tasks on everyone’s ‘to-do’ list,” she said.

“LJ Hooker sales agents and property managers are already with buyers and tenants every step of the way when they’re making their important property decision, and are committed to providing the best experience. This commitment will also foster stronger, long-term relationships.”

When customers sign up to use the LJ Hooker Assist service they can also take advantage of a host of deals and discounts from over 165 major brands, including Freedom, David Jones, iTunes, and Coles.

LJ Hooker Assist also offers complimentary settlement insurance for customers.

The announcement comes after Ray White revealed last week that it had partnered with Hipages, a referral site that allows homeowners to connect with over 70,000 tradespeople.

The partnership aims to give new homeowners access to a database of qualified workers in over 240 categories through the Ray White Concierge Service.
