LJ Hooker has given away a record $110,000 in cash as part of a campaign aimed at sellers and buyers.

The network’s Make Dreams Happen campaign encouraged Australians to take a step closer to their property dream by having their home appraised, with LJ Hooker selecting five sellers to receive a share of $100,000.

Appraisals for the campaign were conducted by an LJ Hooker real estate agent between 1 January and 29 February 2016, with each of the five winners receiving $20,000 in cash.

Also part of Make Dreams Happen was a complementary social media campaign that gave away $10,000 in cash to the entrant who posted the best picture of their property dream with the competition hashtag.

“At LJ Hooker we put the customer at the centre of everything we do and believe it is our purpose to make dreams happen for our customers,” LJ Hooker head of marketing Heather Hilton said.

“Whether you are buying, selling or renting you imagine a better, more comfortable or more convenient life in a new property, and that’s what this campaign is all about.

“Australians love property, we love to talk about it and we love to transact in real estate, and we feel that Make Dreams Happen captures the essence of any property transaction.”
