Coinciding with the company’s 160th birthday, one of Victoria’s oldest real estate brands has announced the launch of its new look.

Along with celebrating its birthday, real estate network Hodges is set to contemporise its brand.

Carmel Baker, Hodges’ CEO, explained that a great deal of consideration went into changing the brand’s visual identity, in collaboration with creative partner Traffic.

“The ‘H’ is made up from the + symbol, to bring to life the core promise that you get more with Hodges,” said Traffic CEO Andrew Beggs.

“This + symbol features heavily in our visual language, acting as a device that connects Hodges with their customers, for example ‘you + Hodges’.

“We have kept the orange colour as this has always been a part of the Hodges DNA, but we softened the black to a light, warmer grey and added in a fresh yellow to give it a more contemporary, brighter feel,” Mr Beggs said.

Ms Baker added that although the company has undergone a rebrand, the foundations of what makes it a respected household name will remain constant.

“Our dedication to service excellence and our strong commitment to our communities will continue; however, our new look and feel will ensure that we stay fresh, contemporary and relevant to our discerning vendors and buyers in Victoria,” Ms Baker said.
