A well-known Australian real estate media brand has been named by Google Play as one of the best apps in 2016.
Domain – Australia’s highest rated real estate app – nabbed a spot in the ‘Best Local’ apps category, earning a 4.2/5 score in the Google Play store from almost 14,000 reviewers.
The Domain app allows property hunters to search for millions of homes and access key information including valuations and sales history.
It also has features such as check-in, which enables house hunters to skip the queue at property inspections and a chat function which allows people to chat and share documents directly with agents.
The app also provides price estimates, and sale and rental history on more than 13 million properties.
Domain Group’s chief product officer, Damon Pezaro, said users are at the forefront of what Domain does.
“Everything we do is aimed at helping make the entire property journey faster, easier and more enjoyable for Australians,” Mr Pezaro said.
He said being named one of Google Play’s best apps in 2016 is evidence of Domain’s innovation and the degree to which it resonates with Australian property hunters.
Domain’s app has received numerous awards. Most recently, it was named the Best Expanded Application and Best New Application at the Design 100 Awards. It also received the overall Design Champions Award.
Domain’s mobile app suite is available on iOS and Android.
