One Australian franchise property group has revealed impressive expansion results in its 2016 national footprint.

Last year, Belle Property opened seven new offices around Australia, taking its national tally to 80.

Norman So, Michael Ma and Simon Furnari, who were previously with McGrath, opened Belle Property Strathfield in Sydney’s inner west.

Michael Doran, also ex-McGrath, opened an office in Pymble in Sydney’s upper north shore.

Justine Popple joined Belle from Ray White and opened an office in Kurrajong, NSW.

David Ferrari, previously with the Ray White Group, established Belle Property Glenelg in Adelaide.

Inspire Real Estate Adelaide, run by Calvin Lai, rebranded as Belle Property International Adelaide for its project marketing arm and Belle Property Adelaide City for its residential sales arm.

Louise Harget, Dan McAlpine and Richard Davies, previously from Peter Blackshaw Real Estate, established Belle Property Kingston, in Canberra.

John Wong, who previously traded as the Verve Group, opened a project marketing office in Docklands trading as Belle Property International, Melbourne.

Belle Property CEO Peter Hanscomb said the group’s brand is growing stronger every month.

“We could not be happier with the high quality of agents choosing to open their businesses under our banner,” Mr Hanscomb said.

In nine years, Belle Property has grown from four offices to 80 today spread across NSW, Queensland, South Australia, Victoria, ACT, the Northern Territory and overseas in Mumbai, India.

Its expansion came as some real estate agents lost ground in 2016 as affordability issues and a drop in listings made growth difficult.
