One listings portal will approach the autumn selling season from an entirely new angle and the results are already winning industry recognition.

Australian photography is at the centre of Domain’s new autumn campaign ‘Location Matters’ which launches nation-wide this week.

The outdoor campaign features a series of beautiful photographs, taken around Australia, that illustrate why ‘location matters’ when buying or renting property.

Domain’s award-winning property app is integrated in the campaign.

Domain chief editorial and marketing officer Melina Cruickshank said a home’s condition can change, its location cannot be changed and will always be reflected in the property’s value.

"Location is one of the most important factors in the property search process, whether renting or buying,” Ms Cruickshank said.

"A homes location creates desirability, desirability creates demand and demand creates value.”

The ‘Location Matters’ campaign will be rolled out on the radio, digital media and social media.

Posters will also be featured on buses, trains, trams and billboards in a collaboration with QMS, Adshel, APN and Ooh! Media.

QMS’ director of sales and marketing John O'Neill complimented Domain’s outdoor strategy.

“Domain’s bold, clear vision and discipline for simplicity across this channel has resulted in some of the best outdoor campaigns [in the media],” he said.
