One major real estate group has beefed up its leadership team, as growth across its network has necessitated a higher level of support.

Ray White NSW announced the appointment of two chief executives who will assume leadership positions in its Sydney network.

Industry stalwarts Jason Andrew and Andrew Crauford join the group in the roles of CEO Sydney and CEO Sydney Metro respectively.

Their appointments come as chief executive Stephen Nell takes the helm as chairman of Ray White NSW.

Mr Andrew and Mr Crauford have been tasked with improving the performance of Ray White franchisees. Mr Andrew will take charge of Ray White’s inner Sydney businesses, while Mr Crauford will be responsible for the southern, western and northern suburbs.

Mr Andrew said he was “so excited” to be the custodian of the Sydney marketplace, which has been long regarded as the epicentre of Australian real estate.

Our initial strategy extends until 2020 and by then it is our goal to have raised the skills, service and standards of our agents, benefiting our vendors and creating more profitable businesses,” he said.

Mr Crauford said he was thrilled to be working with the White family and Mr Nell, and was keen to get started.

“My biggest challenge is to deliver on the high standard of this company,” he said.

Mr Andrew has overseen more than 15,000 property transactions during the course of his career, and is an industry commentator and keynote speaker. Mr Crauford has enjoyed more than a decade as a successful sales performer and principal at Ray White Cherrybrook and West Pennant Hills.

In 2016 Ray White added 14 new businesses to the group across Sydney and moved $11.5 billion in real estate in NSW.
