The Real Estate Institute of NSW has announced the finalists of the Awards for Excellence for the residential property manager category.
The Real Estate Institute of NSW (REINSW) president Christian Payne stated that the finalists in all 17 categories of the competition represent the very best real estate talent in New South Wales.
“The awards recognise the broad range of skills required to be successful, and we are delighted to have finalists from across the state,” he said.
There were four finalists in the residential property manager category, including Vickie van Heuzen from Fitzpatricks Real Estate, Rebecca Kleiner from Hart Estate Agents, Keira Melhuish from Leah Jay and Lee Underwood from Eastern Realty. Ms van Heuzen said that she was thrilled to have received a nomination.
“Having worked many years in the industry, I see the nomination as a high achievement and as recognition for the work I do,” she told Residential Property Management.
She believed that her thorough knowledge of tenancy law and her excellent negotiation skills both contributed to her nomination.
Meanwhile, Mr Underwood was also excited to have been nominated.
“I’m very thankful to have been chosen, especially as the REINSW is such a recognised body” he said.
He also stated that the awards were an excellent way of not only recognising the achievements of individuals and businesses but promoting the real estate industry as a whole. He believed that his good understanding of the industry, rational thinking and consistency were what contributed to his nomination.
The Awards for Excellence have been running for 16 years and helps recognise the achievements of those that work in the industry.
The winners of the awards will be announced on 10 Thursday October 2013 at a gala dinner held at the Doltone House in Sydney.
