Police are currently appealing for more information about the tenants of a New South Wales house who left without their $136,000 cannabis crop.

At approximately 2pm on Monday, the landlord of a house on Stanley Road, Lidcombe, visited the property to speak to the tenants, according to a police statement.

After there was no response at the door, the landlord entered the home and stumbled across dozens of cannabis plants.

No one was found at the home and officers would like to speak to the tenants or any witnesses who may be able to assist with their investigation.
