A state tribunal has changed the way it delivers services to property managers.
The NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal (NCAT) has changed its service delivery in the St George and Sutherland Shire after closing the Hurstville registry on 28 November, reports the Real Estate Institute of NSW (REINSW).
As of 1 December 2014, regular NCAT sittings take place at NCAT's Sydney and Liverpool registries or the Kogarah and Sutherland Local Court, depending on the postcode of the property in question.
The tribunal sits five days per week in Sydney and four in Liverpool. Kogarah Local Court will sit two days a week for formal hearings and two days a week at Sutherland Local Court.
Parties who had matters adjourned at recent Hurstville hearings will be sent written notification of the change. They will also be advised about their new hearing location.
Matters will continue to be dealt with as close as possible to the location of the dispute.
The REINSW said NCAT clients will continue to have access to a range of services through the Hurstville Service NSW premises, located on the ground floor of the same building currently occupied by NCAT.
