A state’s award-winning residential PM has divulged her secrets for achieving rewarding results and beating the best to come out on top.

Jam Property managing director Loretta Morgan last week took out the coveted title of Residential Property Manager of the Year at the Real Estate Institute of Queensland’s gala awards.

Having been a finalist in the category previously, as well as a finalist for Commercial Property Manager of the Year, Ms Morgan told Residential Property Manager it was her first big win.

Ms Morgan said she constantly strives to find ways to improve industry standards by changing the way she conducts business.

“It is about being creative and innovative but also educating our clients to make better-informed decisions,” she said.

“I really think that has pushed me to be an industry leader because I have always been passionate about putting the time in and changing those things.”

Ms Morgan said perseverance was the key to her industry accolade.

“It is about never giving up, and I know they always say that, but it is just about really being consistent,” she said.

“Success comes from literally never giving up, and being determined in what you want to achieve and not letting setbacks stop you - really be confident in your ability and have faith that you can achieve something,” she added.
