Regarded as one of the world’s greatest architect, Frank Gehry’s buildings have become internationally-renowned tourist attractions that showcase deconstructivist design.

There’s good reason why Vanity Fair labelled Gehry ‘the most important architect of our age’; his works have been influential in their form and highlighted the artistic and aesthetic value of architecture.

In 1958 Gehry’s first work came to fruition with David Cabin in Idyllwild, California; however, the building that brought him to prominence was his own residence in Santa Monica, California where he brought deconstructivist architecture to the forefront.

One of the most recent of Gehry’s designs to be realised was in February this year when Sydney’s University of Technology added the Dr Chau Chak Wing Building to its campus (see below).

The following month saw the latest Gehry design unveiled with Facebook employees moving into their new West Campus in Menlo Park, California, which boasts ‘the largest open floor plan in the world’.

Below is a compilation of some of Gehry’s more prominent designs that were uncovered by searching Instagram for #gehry.
