One lucky tenant has a chance to get their hands on a lavish 19th century residence – although they will have to pay almost $25,000 per month for the privilege.

The four-bedroom, six-bathroom stone tower (see below) in Sicily is on the rental market for €16,000 ($24,070) a month.

The outdoor areas of the home provide various amenities, such as a 6m x 12m swimming pool and a five-a-side football pitch/tennis court with synthetic grass.

There’s also a wellbeing area that includes a sauna, Turkish bath, whirlpool bath and an “emotional shower” that uses scents and pressures to relax the muscles.

The property is close to Vendicari Nature Reserve with its beautiful beaches and crystal-clear waters.
