The Lunar Embassy – which markets itself as “the leaders in extra-terrestrial real estate” – is the agent of choice for those who have lost patience with Earth prices.

Lots are available for $30, which includes a deed of ownership, map as well as lunar codes, covenants and restrictions.

While many may be sceptical, the Lunar Embassy is a member of the Netcheck Internet Commerce Bureau, which promotes ethical business practices worldwide to increase consumer and corporate confidence in purchasing products and services online.

According to the Lunar Embassy website, in 1980 a declaration was filed with the United Nations as well as the US and Russian governments to make the Lunar Embassy the only company in the world to possess a legal basis for the sale of lunar and other extra-terrestrial property within the confines of our solar system.
