A spectacular glass-encased swimming pool suspended between two apartment blocks 10-storeys high is set for completion in 2017, according to Homes & Property.

As part of London’s new 2,000-home Embassy Gardens development, the “world-first” 25-metre pool will link two apartment blocks along with communal rooftop terraces (see below).

Entirely transparent and intended to resemble an aquarium, the developer has said that the swimming experience will feel like floating through the air in central London.

The Embassy Gardens development will also feature a rooftop bar, spa and an additional bridge to allow residents and visitors to also walk between the two buildings.
