A private landlord in Colorado is willing to accept tenants with dogs if they have good references, but no one can convince him to accept Donald Trump supporters.
Mark Holmes is renting out the downstairs portion of his home and, according to The Daily Sentinel, listed the following ad on a classifieds website:
“For rent: Downtown apartment, 2 bedrooms. Includes organic garden space, hot tub, great backyard. You can bring your dogs if they have references as good as yours. If voting for Donald Trump, do not call.”

Holmes said he’s been a political activist since the Vietnam War, which he demonstrated against, and noted that the US Fair Housing Act does not cover discrimination based on political affiliation.
