The property market may be a tough nut to crack, but one 14 year old has already bought her first house.
Willow Tufano spent about 18 months on classifieds website Craigslist buying and selling items before saving up $US6,000, she told The Ellen Show.

Eventually Ms Tufano found a $US100,000 property in Florida and, when the market dropped significantly, she was able to purchase the property for $12,000 by splitting the cost with her mother.
After completing some renovations and improvements, Ms Tufano was able to find a tenant and is now earning $US700 a month.
