A new trend on social media is allowing renters to air their grievances about the London market.

Photos and tweets (see below) have surfaced on social media channels as angry Londoners complain about their rent prices with the hashtag #VentYourRent.

Various renters have taken to Instagram with photos of themselves holding pieces of paper and card with their grievances about the costs and conditions that come with living in London, according to Metro.

Others have taken to Twitter to share their renting horror stories, such as one user who slept on her living room floor for a month because of moths and maggots in the carpet that her agent refused to sort out.
