One US home owner loves fishing so much, he dug up a massive personal fishing pond and built a house over it.

Paul Phillips from Oklahoma got so tired of being told where he couldn’t fish that he built his own fishing paradise, according to Oddity Central.

Mr Phillips started construction of the 170 square metre home in September 2014 by renting a bulldozer, digging up a large pond and building the house in one corner of the pond.

The house has since been put on the market, as Mr Phillips wishes to build a bigger house on a much larger pond with even bigger fish to catch.
