A software developer has launched what it says is the first full-featured mobile CRM app for busy real estate agents who spend most of their time away from the office.
Rex Software says an agent spends approximately 60 to 80 per cent of their working life out of the office, taking them away from the office-based tools they need to work effectively.
Rex Software identified a gap in the market for an app that would enable agents to manage their tasks on the go, and launched Pocket by Rex.
The firm describes Pocket by Rex as “having your office in your pocket”, with the app set to replace pens and paper diaries agents commonly use when they’re on the road.
“We spent a lot of time designing the app to cover everything from getting through follow-up activities to running open for inspections and appraisals to prospecting to viewing and editing your entire database,” Rex Software CEO Anton Babkov said.
Meanwhile, the company’s chief technology officer Alex Babkov said real estate is “fundamentally a people business”.
“Pocket just makes those people more efficient and effective,” Mr Babkov said.
The app was developed in a year and integrates with Rex software which is used by more than 6,000 agents across 1,000 agencies.
Pocket by Rex is now available for iOS on the App Store and for Android on Google Play.
