McGrath Estate Agents has recruited an acclaimed top-tier agent to its company-owned sales team, where she will specialise in her core suburbs across Sydney’s north shore.

Karen Terry joins McGrath from Ray White, where she was recognised to have attained the status of an Elite Performer in NSW for the Ray White group.

Ms Terry said that she was attracted to the McGrath brand for its professionalism, world-class marketing and technology.

“The real estate industry is constantly changing and McGrath is renowned for leading the way in terms of technology and innovation,” said Ms Terry.

“I look forward to being able to share this with my valued clients in the local area.”

Regional sales manager for McGrath Northern Beaches Wayne Walter said that Ms Terry will be an asset to the network.

“I am thrilled to welcome Karen to McGrath,” Mr Walter said.

“Her passion, energy and commitment to excellence is second to none. Karen has a wealth of local knowledge and expertise, and we are delighted to have someone of her calibre join the team.”

Ms Terry said that the demand from out-of-area buyers has been driving up property prices.

She added: “The new hospital in Frenchs Forest and improvements to our transport are exciting for the area and will continue to drive demand as we head into spring.”

Prior to real estate, Ms Terry worked in the media, ultimately as a unit manager for "A Current Affair" on the Nine Network.

She will focus on Manly, Balgowlah Heights, Seaforth and The Forest.

[Editor's correction: Originally REB reported that Ms Terry was recognised as the fastest ever female to reach Elite Performer status in NSW for the Ray White group. The Ray White group has since confirmed that while she was recognised as an Elite Performer, she was not the fastest to reach the status.]
