RE/MAX has been included in the Topfranchise Awards for 2017, as listed by SEEK Business and 10 THOUSAND FEET.

The real estate franchise group has been rated in the top 10 for expansion and support.

RE/MAX Australia’s franchise director Joel Davoren said that the accolade is an affirmation that it is “on track” with its core business values.

“Growth is one of the five RE/MAX Australia key business pillars,” the director said.

“And the mission statement speaks of creating and facilitating the experience of unlimited opportunities for RE/MAX people within the property industry and allied services.

“That is something we cannot succeed in doing for our members unless our support offering is exceptional.”

Mr Davoren said that the last two years has been productive.

“We experienced around 30 per cent growth in franchisees in around two years,” he added.

“But our real goal is in helping the businesses in our network to themselves grow and thrive. Our KPIs are our agent count and agent productivity rather than office numbers, and both these are accelerating because real estate agents and business owners are looking for genuine freedom, flexibility and opportunity to build their business and increase profitability.”

He also said that the impact of the group on its members is a work in progress.

“We are building a unique community of high-performing business owners and agents that have an entrepreneurial spirit.

“We are so proud of what our network is doing, what they are building, and our head office team is focused on creating and facilitating opportunities for our members.”

Head of intelligence for topfranchise.com.au and 10 THOUSAND FEET Ian Krawitz said that the best franchisors are attentive to the needs of their members.

“They see their role is to support franchisees to deliver an amazing customer offer every day and support franchisees to have strong businesses.”

Mr Krawitz praised the efforts of the RE/MAX group.

“Placing in the top 10 for support and expansion award categories is a fantastic effort,” Mr Krawitz said.

“We know how much hard work goes into innovating and evolving in order to have a great relationship with franchisees and we congratulate RE/MAX Australia on its achievements this year. “

RE/MAX Australia is part of a network boasting a global footprint, with representation in more than 100 countries and territories and more than 116,000 agents.

RE/MAX Asia Pacific, which includes Australia and currently 17 other regions, is anticipated to be the company’s greatest growth sector in the coming years.

The Topfranchise Awards recognises the activities and achievements of Australian franchisors, with award winners determined based on the satisfaction of their franchisees.

Each year, more than 1,500 Australian franchises are queried through a comprehensive survey conducted by specialist researchers, 10 THOUSAND FEET and the number one market place for buying a business, SEEK Business.
