The Domain Group’s PriceFinder property data and insights platform has ended its re-seller arrangement with the Real Estate Institute of Western Australia and will make its property data direct to the market when the agreement ends in February 2018.

Domain sales director for Western Australia Jeroen van de Peppel said that the new direct to market data offering is standard across the Australian eastern and southern states.

“Domain Group stands behind its intention to offer the WA market better value on property data with a direct partnership, just like we have with our digital advertising products," the sales director said. "By removing re-sellers from our service model, we can pass savings onto our customers. It’s a win-win.

“We are confident that by the time customers need to choose which provider to go with when our agreement with REIWA ends in February 2018, they will stay with the quality product that they are used to. PriceFinder is nationally renowned for powering insights through multiple sources, such as MyDesktop and Domain.com.au."

Mr van de Peppel said that, earlier this year, PriceFinder advised REIWA of its intention to stop selling REIWA PriceFinder directly into the WA market, giving the industry body a 12-month notice.

He said that since then, REIWA has announced a new re-seller partnership with CoreLogic RP Data and has started re-selling CoreLogic data subscriptions to the WA market.

PriceFinder property reports provide data and analytics on individual addresses.

Earlier in the month, Domain announced a three-year agreement with American Express to offer real estate business owners rewards on everyday spend.

The new partnership will align the Domain platinum listing subscriptions and American Express platinum business cards products so that premium real estate business owners can start earning rewards on the business they do.

They will have access to up to 245,000 bonus membership reward points with the American Express membership rewards program.
