One boutique agency has made an executive appointment to its leadership team, creating a new position designed to let the company keep pace with the industry’s rapid pace of change.

Brisbane’s Place Estate Agents has appointed IT veteran David Sparksman to the position of head of innovation.

CEO Damian Hackett said that Place is committed to continually reviving its strategies and broadening its vision.

He said that the group’s intention is to be one of the most innovative real estate agencies in Australia.

“Most industries around the world are undergoing huge amount of change brought on mainly by advances in technology,” Mr Hackett said.

“Real estate is no different. That’s why we’ve brought on David Sparksman to help keep us ahead of the game. We are thrilled to have someone of his expertise join the team.”

Mr Hackett said that Mr Sparksman is an industry leader within the IT world.

“He has worked with Place on various levels to help streamline company processes to deliver the best service to clients across the board,” Mr Hackett said.
