One international powerhouse has made rapid inroads into the Australian residential real estate landscape.
PRDnationwide, the wholly owned residential brand of Colliers International, has been expanding in the past five months with the addition of six new offices.
Managing director Tony Brasier said that there are a series of drivers behind the growth.
“The increased level of enquiries from potential new franchisees has resulted in these new offices coming on board,” Mr Brasier said. “In addition, the success of some of our current offices has led to their expansion into new markets.
“Our resources to help grow businesses, our market-leading research, our digital marketing platform and our Colliers connections have been key drivers which have all contributed to this growth.
“Our international alliance with the United Group in the US, one of the fastest growing franchise groups in North America, has also been an added attraction, creating ease of access to international markets.”
Mr Brasier said that the parent company has also been influential in the growth.
“Colliers International has invested considerable capital in building our infrastructure in the past three years, resulting in a robust franchise platform with the capacity to grow further,” the managing director said.
New offices in Queensland include Peregian Beach and Maryborough. In NSW, offices have been added in Hurstville, Beverly Hills, New Lambton and Bungendore.
“The New Lambton office continues the growth of our market-leading Hunter Valley Offices, which include Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens and Maitland,” Mr Brasier said.
He added that there is more of the same expansion planned for 2018.
“The quality of the business rather than just the sheer number of offices is one of our main criteria,” the managing director said.
“We have a unique structure that covers all aspects of commercial and residential real estate. Between Colliers International and PRD, we have the specialists with experience and knowledge to provide solutions for all potential and existing clients.”
