One of the country’s fastest growing brands has secured a major coup on Sydney’s buoyant northern beaches by head-hunting two of the area’s most experienced agents and opening a new office in one of its most prominent locations.

Stone Real Estate has recruited Greg Duce and Trent McKay to its brand and opened its new Mona Vale/North Narrabeen office.

Mr Duce and Mr McKay bring more than two decades’ combined local experience to their new roles as principal and director of Stone Real Estate Mona Vale & North Narrabeen.

Mr McKay said that the Stone brand and business offering was too compelling to pass up.

“We both couldn’t ignore the fact that Stone was definitely one of the most progressive agencies we’d seen,” the agent said.

“Their uptake of advanced technology along with the one client database system really sets Stone apart, and it’s these points of difference which give them greater scope to offer principals and staff so much more than a traditional agency.”

Mr Duce added that Stone was the kind of “innovative, forward-thinking” brand the pair had been looking for.

“Stone Real Estate is bringing us into a new era where everyone in the business genuinely has an honest as well as fulfilling experience,” Mr Duce said.

Mr Duce added that witnessing the number of experienced, long-term agents joining Stone was also a major drawcard.

“In the last two years, dozens of long-term leaders from established agencies have left to join Stone and it really piqued our curiosity.”

Mr Duce said that the Stone model would allow them to attract the kind of elite sales staff they had previously been unable to sway.

“Stone Real Estate offers people far more of a chance to grow, the highest levels of in-house training and a genuine hands-on structure.”

The move follows a string of similar ones over the last 18 months in which leading area agents have left long-standing roles in traditional agencies to open new offices for the boutique agency.
