$2m up for grabs in new LJ Hooker marketing campaign

Leading real estate network LJ Hooker has kick-started its 2018 growth strategies with the network’s largest ever customer offer, bringing back one of its most successful customer marketing tools.

LJ Hooker has returned its Prize Wheel, which this year offers one lucky vendor and landlord the chance to each win $1 million to spend with LJ Hooker.

The Prize Wheel also hosts a raft of other rewards.

The network last offered the Prize Wheel in spring 2016 and estimates that it directly added $31.6 million in sales revenue across all offices.

Head of marketing Heather Hilton said that this year was the first time the brand had offered a campaign which equally targeted home owners and investors.

“The $2 million new-year campaign is the largest customer-focused offering we’ve ever implemented,” Ms Hilton said. 

“In 2016, we armed our sales agents to go out and engage the marketplace with the Million Dollar Prize Wheel, and the reception they received was overwhelming.

“This year, we’ve doubled the offer to provide our property management division with the same entrée to customers, and we’re confident landlords will respond similarly.”

Between 1 February and 30 April, sellers and landlords each have separate chances to spin LJ Hooker’s Prize Wheel, which contains a suite of rewards headed by the grand prize of $1 million to spend with LJ Hooker.

“Any home owner who has a market update of their property with an LJ Hooker agent will have a single chance to be randomly selected to spin the wheel,” Ms Hilton said.

“But if that owner goes on to list their property with one of our offices, they’ll receive another five chances to spin the wheel; if they choose to go to auction, they’ll receive a massive 11 entries into the draw to win $1 million or another outstanding prize.”

The head of marketing said that landlords have opportunities to increase their chance of being selected to spin the wheel.

“Anyone who has a market update of their rental property will receive an entry into the prize draw, but anyone who shifts the management of their investment to LJ Hooker will receive five tickets in the draw; that places our property managers and BDMs ahead of their competitors to bolster their rent rolls in 2018.”
