One of Australia’s oldest and most established networks has announced that three experienced agents have come together under its brand to open an office on Sydney’s lucrative north shore.

Local agents Nina Sokolov, Slava Sokolov and Lara Rowell are combining to open a Raine & Horne office to service the prestige Sydney markets of Palm Beach and Avalon.

The three directors bring a combined wealth of experience and long history in the industry, specialising in residential and commercial sales, leasing, development, special projects and business sales.

Ms Sokolov will lead the residential division at Raine & Horne Avalon Palm Beach; Mr Sokolov will head up property development and special projects; and Ms Rowell, a former Raine & Horne employee, will drive additional property services in Avalon.

Executive chairman Angus Raine said that the network’s footprint in the area runs deep.

“Raine & Horne was involved in sub-divisional sales in Palm Beach as far back as the late 19th century, and we have had an office servicing this region for the best part of 40 years,” Mr Raine said.

“I’m delighted that Nina, Lara and Slava have decided to launch Raine & Horne Avalon Palm Beach to service one of Sydney’s most popular prestige real estate markets.”

He said that the trio have strong family ties to Raine & Horne.

“It’s a great family story, with Lara’s father, Denis McDonagh, starting the first Raine & Horne office in Avalon more than 40 years ago.”

Ms Rowell said that the Raine & Horne brand is synonymous with real estate in the area.

She added that it has “dominated” the property market on Sydney’s northern beaches in “for many years”, and that she intends to carry on with that tradition.

“We have huge plans for the brand here,” Ms Rowell said.

“Least of which is to provide customers the opportunity to link with one of Australia’s most powerful real estate brands that has such a deep history in this region.”
